Registered Dental Hygienist

Traci received her certificate in dental assisting from Tunxis Community College in 1984. She was immediately accepted into the dental hygiene program and graduated with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1986. Traci has the distinction of being Dr. Salonia's most senior employee with over 28 years of service! She has known her patients for so long that most are like family. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is helping people achieve optimal dental health.

Traci is a native of Meriden, Connecticut. She and her husband have three children and five grandchildren. Most weekends you can find her entertaining family and friends in her big backyard.



Registered Dental Hygienist

Kathy graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1990. She has been in the dental field since 1982 and a part of Dr. Salonia's team for 13 years. As a hygienist, Kathy enjoys helping to create and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles.

A native of Lee, Massachusetts, Kathy now lives in Berlin, Connecticut. She enjoys quilting as well as hitting the ski slopes with her husband and son.



Office Manager

Kristina graduated in 2011 from the dental assisting program at Porter and Chester Institute. She also has her state certification in radiology. Kristina enjoyed being a dental assistant for several years before moving to the business office.  She loves being able to help give patients the beautiful healthy smiles that they deserve. Growing up, she knew she wanted to be in the dental field. As a child, she loved the dentist and always had wonderful experiences. She looks forward to learning from the continuing education that Dr. Salonia provides for her staff.

Born and raised in Middletown, Kristina’s hobbies are pottery, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her family and three spoiled Yorkshire terriers, Dallas and Oakley and Macy.



Certified Dental Assistant

Chrissy graduated in 2003 from Tunxis Community College with a certificate in dental assisting.  She has worked in various dental offices over the past 15 years and has an appreciation for all aspects of dentistry.  Chrissy had a great experience as a child with her orthodontist and realized at a young age that this was the field that she wanted to work in.  She enjoys making patients feel comfortable at their visit and making sure that each patient has a very pleasant experience.

Chrissy resides in Berlin with her husband, Ian.  She enjoys hiking, kayaking, fire pits in the backyard, and spending time with family and friends.  She especially enjoys the company of her little dog, Bella!


Patient Co-Ordinator

Sandy retired a few years ago from a local oral surgery practice where she was the office manager. With over 30 years of experience she brings a host of medical, dental, and surgical experience to the team. Now she can be found assisting Kristina part time at the reception desk. She has also worked as an LPN in area hospitals and is a clinical instructor in a certified nurse aid program. Sandy wishes to contribute to the office philosophy of providing dental care at its finest from the moment you walk through the front door.

Sandy resides in Durham with her husband, John, and their cat, Chester. She enjoys 5k road races, biking with her daughter and grandchildren, and cross-country road trips with John.



Front Desk Assistant

Faith graduated from Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and Public Relations. She was the Office Manager and worked with Dr. Salonia for over 30 years before recently retiring. She still likes to come in to help out whenever she is needed.  

Faith grew up in Middletown and has known many of the patients and their families for years. Now that her three sons are grown, she and her husband enjoy boating, trying new restaurants, and playing with their Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.  She especially loves being a grandma!
